A great product. The bowls are very heavy and durable. This company has excellant quality control. They can be mixed- and- matched with all white dinnerware. The bowls are a little shallow, so if your partner wants a big bowl of pasta, these probably won't work. They are great for salad and if you want portion control! I love this pattern as it is always in good taste.
Description of Churchill China Finlandia Salad Plates, Set of 4
Some of Finlandia's appeal can be attributed to its classic blue and white coloration. In addition, the crisp, balanced Scandinavian-inspired design never seems to look dated. Although it has organic floral elements and projects a certain delicacy, a great sense of orderliness and symmetry prevails. The swirling contours of the pieces add interest without being distracting. This is a pattern that seems at ease during formal occasions, and charmingly fresh for casual meals.
