These salt and pepper shakers are a great size and look very nice. I prefer to use a pepper mill and salt grinder, but this pair are always on the table as well. As far as shakers go, these are a must-have to complete your Finlandia collection.
Description of Churchill China Finlandia Salt and Pepper Set
Some of Finlandia's appeal can be attributed to its classic blue and white coloration. In addition, the crisp, balanced Scandinavian-inspired design never seems to look dated. Although it has organic floral elements and projects a certain delicacy, a great sense of orderliness and symmetry prevails. The swirling contours of the pieces add interest without being distracting. This is a pattern that seems at ease during formal occasions, and charmingly fresh for casual meals. Finlandia is one of the world's most enduring china patterns, having weathered fashion trends and the acquisition of its original manufacturer Myott Meakin by the Churchill China Group in 1991.Some things never go out of style and, obviously, the Finlandia china pattern is one of them.
