Description of Churchill China Thanksgiving Full Color Turkey Creamer and Covered Sugar Set

The turkey featured in the Churchill Thanksgiving Turkey design is highly detailed, as if from an antique natural history engraving; the bird stands in full-tailed display amid a cluster of ferns on two sides of the creamer. The upper rims of both pieces, as well as the sugar bowl lid, feature equally detailed drawings of forest flora: blackberries, acorns, oak leaves, and simple wild rose blossoms. The color palette includes soft blues, reds, golds, and greens in the muted tones of a hand-tinted photograph. The Churchill Thanksgiving Turkey pattern offers a wide range of matching pieces such as basic 5-piece place settings, napkin rings, a soup tureen, a cookie jar, and a 6-cup teapot, as well as other individual setting pieces.

Churchill earthenware is safe for use in the microwave and freezer; however, avoid rapid temperature changes by allowing dishes to make gradual transitions. Churchill pieces are also dishwasher safe; when hand washing, avoid abrasive cleansers and scourers.
