These are nice colorful Thanksgiving plates. I had hoped they would be a little larger, but for the price they are a nice value and will look nice for the holiday meal. Won't worry about breakage w/ family use and won't have to use paper Thanksgiving plates anymore!!

This colorful portrait of the star of Thanksgiving's show was adapted from original copper engravings from the Myott Factory illustration archives. Its sense of history and tradition will enhance this special time spent with family and dear friends.This set of four 10-inch dinner plates from Churchill China is made of English earthenware and decorated with a traditional Thanksgiving motif that creates a vintage holiday atmosphere suitable for casual or fine dining. The pattern features a plump Thanksgiving turkey in the wild and is ringed with seasonal holiday foliage. The design is based on original engravings and applied with the centuries-old technique of transfer printing in a detailed and multi-stepped process. The plates are both dishwasher- and microwave-safe, an added convenience during the busy holiday season.
